Supplier Requirements

All A-Clauses are applicable to every PO

[A1] Individual Purchase Orders requirements can override supplier requirements.

[A2] CJ Precision Machine shall flow down to suppliers the applicable requirements in the purchasing documents.

[A3] PRICE: Prices recorded in Purchase Orders are subject to increase, only with CJ Precision approval.  

[A4] DELIVERY TIME OF ESSENSE: CJ Precision Machine’s schedules are based upon the agreement and understanding that the goods will be delivered to CJ Precision Machine by the agreed delivery lead times.

[A5] SUPPLIER shall establish and maintain records to provide Objective Quality Evidence of conformity to purchasing requirements and of the effective operation of the supplier’s quality management system. At a minimum, each record is maintained for at least ten years. Records shall be available for review by CJ PRECISION MACHINE, its customers and regulatory authorities, as required. Suppliers are to provide their procedures for controlling relevant records to CJ PRECISION MACHINE’s purchasing for review by the Purchasing Manager.

[A6] SUPPLIER shall notify CJ PRECISION MACHINE of nonconforming product or process prior to delivery and wait for CJ PRECISION MACHINE’s approval of supplier nonconforming product. Supplier shall maintain Objective Quality Evidence of CJ PRECISION MACHINE’s approval of supplier nonconforming product. The supplier organization shall act to determine and eliminate the cause of nonconformities to prevent reoccurrence and to provide Objective Quality Evidence to CJ PRECISION MACHINE, and/or our customers, assuring them of the quality of delivered goods.

[A7] SUPPLIER shall notify CJ PRECISION MACHINE of any changes in the product and/or process used in the manufacture of the product. CJ PRECISION MACHINE reserves the right for approval of the product, the parts used, the materials used, the procedures used, and the equipment used by the Supplier in fulfilling the Purchase Order requirements.

[A8] SUPPLIER shall provide Certificates of Conformity for product delivered, if requested. Including the parts used, the materials used, the procedures used, and the equipment used in fulfillment of the Purchase Order requirements.

[A9] CJ PRECISION MACHINE, its customers, and regulatory authorities shall be granted the right of access to all supplier and sub-tier supplier facilities and records involved in fulfilling the Purchase Order requirements. All items of this purchase order are subject to in-process quality surveillance by CJ PRECISION MACHINE and/or its customer. At any time, CJ PRECISION MACHINE may notify the supplier of specific requests for on-site surveillance. CJ PRECISION MACHINE reserves the right to request the opportunity to witness any actions in support of this order. The supplier shall provide no less than three business days advance notification to CJ PRECISION MACHINE’s procurement representative before items are ready for any requested CJ PRECISION MACHINE source surveillance. The supplier shall not proceed without CJ PRECISION MACHINE present or without CJ PRECISION MACHINE QA written authorization to proceed. The supplier shall provide reasonable facilities and assistance, including all quality records and related data for contracted goods, upon request.

[A10] Calibration service providers must calibrate items to ISO 17025 requirements or equivalent. Calibrate to manufacturers specifications unless otherwise noted on the purchase order.

[A11] Suppliers shall ensure that persons doing work under their control are aware of their contribution to product or service conformity; their contribution to product safety; and the importance of ethical behavior.

[A12] Prevention of Counterfeit Parts
Seller shall have a documented counterfeit prevention policy in practice in place.

[A13] Qualification of Personnel
CJ Precision relies on the Supplier to have a system in place for the qualification of personnel. This system shall make individuals aware of their importance to quality and product safety. Qualification records are to be available to CJ Precision upon request

[A14] Control and Monitoring of External Provider’s Performance
CJ PRECISION MACHINE will collect and measure data, not limited to: On-Time Delivery and Quality, used for the purpose of controlling and measuring suppliers’ performance. On-Time Delivery shall meet a criterion of 95% to maintain an approved status. Quality shall maintain a criterion of 99% to maintain an approved status.

 

All B-Clauses are applicable to all PO’s for Raw Material

[B1] Material Certification and/or Material Test Reports are required to accompany raw material with shipment.

[B2] Statutory/Regulatory Compliance

  • Conflict Minerals – New requirements under the Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, also known as the Dodd-Frank Act requires publicly traded companies whose products contain metals derived from minerals defined as Conflict Minerals, which include tantalum, tin, tungsten, and gold, are required to report annually to the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). It is CJ PRECISION MACHINE’s intention to fully comply with the requirements of the legislation and subsequent regulations. Therefore, upon request, Supplier shall provide CJ PRECISION MACHINE with required evidence that the products do not contain Conflict Minerals. Suppliers are expected to use due diligence to comply with these legal requirements and provide products free of Conflict Minerals originating from the DRC and surrounding countries.
  • RoHS(2) & REACH – Supplier agrees to provide, upon CJ PRECISION MACHINE request, “evidence of compliance” (e.g. lab test reports) regarding Supplier’s activities with respect to its compliance to regulated hazardous or dangerous materials under, for instance, RoHS(2) (Restriction on the use of certain Hazardous Substances) and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemical(s) as requested by CJ PRECISION MACHINE.
